ABCP Bangladesh Center, headed by His Holiness Visuddhananda Mahathero as President and Dr. Pranab Kumar Barua as Secretary General was established in 1975. Since then the National Center has been functioning for Peace and disarmament in the world. His Holiness Mohasanghanayaka Visuddhananda Mahathero, the Founding President of Bangladesh Bouddha Kristi Prachar Sangha, ABCP Bangladesh National Center-1, was awarded the “International Peace Gold Medal” in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the cause of world peace based on compassionate teching of Lord Buddha. The National Center after the death of H. H. Mohasanghanayaka Visuddhananda Mahathero, was headed by his Holiness 28 th Sanghanayaka Suddhananda Mahathero, as President and Dr. Pranab Kumar Baruya as Secretary General of Bangladesh Bouddha Kristi Prachar Sangha and National Center of ABCP Bangladesh Chapter-1. After the death of H. H. 28 th Sanghanayaka Suddhananda Mahathero and Dr. Pranab Kumar Barua, the National Chapter of ABCP Bangladesh Center is leading by its President Most Ven. Buddhapriya Mahathero, as President, Mr. Deva Priya Barua as Senior Vice President and Mr. P.R. Barua as Secretary General of ABCP National Chapter of Bangladesh-1 (Bangladesh Bouddha Kristi Prachar Sangha) from 2020 with following office Bearers:-
