New Management & Construction Committee of Nava Pandit Vihar, 15, Katalganj, Chattogram

By the strong & dynamic leadership of His Holiness 24th Mahasanghanayaka Visuddhananda Mahathero, Founder President, Bangladesh Bouddha Kristi Prachar Sangha has founded Nava Pandit Vihar, 15, Katalganj, P. S. Panchlaish, Chattogram, Bangladesh with the active financial help and assistance of his three main disciples the then Senior Vice President of BBKPS Darshansagar Priyananda Mahathero, the then Joint Secretary General of BBKPS Most Ven. Suddhananda Mahathero (late President 28th H. H. Sanghanayaka), & Most Ven. Sugatananda Mahathero (late the then Deputy Sanghanayaka & Vice President of BBKPS). At that time many other Venerable senior monk leaders & laity Buddhist leaders of BBKPS Central Committee, Chattogram Zone, Youth & Women Wings actively participated in the establishment of this unique Monastery. Among others Ven. S. Dharmapal Mahathero (late 27th Sanghanayaka), Rajguru Bijoyananda Mahathero, Prin. Dr. Pranab Kumar Baruya, Mr. Bimalendhu Barua, Engr. Brammadutta Barua, Mr. Indhu Bhushan Barua, Prin. Subodh Ranjan Barua, Prof. Dr. Bikiran Prasad Barua, Mr. Deva Priya Barua, Mr. Amalendhu Bikash Barua, Mr. Amiya Kanti Barua, Engr. Ananda Prasad Barua, Mr. Sarit Kanti Barua, Mr. Tarit Kanti Chowdhury, Mr. Salil Bihari Barua, Mr. Sunil Kanti Barua & so on. They have played vital role in establishing the monastery. Later, with the financial assistance of Mr Avoy Barua Rana the land finally registered in the name of Bangladesh Bouddha Kristi Prachar Sangha, Dhaka. Now, with the Government & public financial help & assistance 1st phase of 6-storied new storied building construction works begins with the dynamic leadership of standing President Most Ven. Buddhapriya Mahathero of Bangladesh Bouddha Kristi Prachar Sangha, Dhaka.
